Load My Resources [Fabric]
Attention: Development of Load My Resources has been discontinued. No more updates will be released. We recommend using alternative resource loader mods.
About the Mod
Load My Resources is a client-side mod that automatically loads resources (images and sounds) when the game starts. It works similarly to resource packs but has several important differences:
- Enabled by default - doesn't require manual activation
- Cannot be disabled by user - always active
- Hidden from resource pack menu - doesn't take up space in the list
How to Load Resources
The resource loading process is relatively simple but requires basic understanding of working with resource packs.
-
Initial setup: Launch the game with the mod installed once, then close it. This will create the necessary folders and files.
-
Folder location: A new
resources
folder will appear in the.minecraft
directory. This is where the mod will load your resources from. -
Adding resources: Copy all required resources to the
resources
folder. If you want to load resources from an existing resource pack, copy the contents of that pack'sassets
folder to theresources
directory. -
Launching the game: After adding resources, start Minecraft - all loaded files will become available for use in the mod and will be visible in the game.
Important Information
The resources
folder functions similarly to the assets
folder in regular resource packs. The namespace system works exactly the same way.
For example: if you place a texture in resources/mytextures
, the namespace for textures in the mytextures
folder will be "mytextures".
