Load My Resources [Forge] - Automatic Resource Loading
What does this mod do?
Load My Resources is a client-side mod that automatically loads various game resources when Minecraft starts. It works with images, sounds, and other files, making them available immediately after the game launches.
Main advantages
- Automatic activation - resources are loaded by default without the need for manual enabling
- Hidden from user - the mod does not appear in the resource pack menu, preventing accidental disabling
- Easy to use - just set up the resource folder once
How to set up resource loading
The setup process is intuitive but requires basic understanding of working with resource packs:
- Launch the game with the mod installed, then close it - this will create the necessary folders
- A new 'resources' folder will appear in the '.minecraft' directory - open it
- Copy all required resources to this folder. To load resources from a ready-made resource pack, copy the contents of the 'assets' folder
- Restart the game - all resources will be automatically loaded and available for use
Important information
The 'resources' folder functions similarly to the 'assets' folder in standard resource packs. The namespace system works identically. For example, if you place a texture in 'resources/mytextures', the namespace for these textures will be "mytextures".
Compatibility and usage
The mod can be freely included in mod collections (modpacks). A separate version of the mod is available for Fabric.
