Local Looks

Local Looks is a practical modification that introduces a unique item into the game: the Magic Mirror. With it, you can instantly change your skin directly during gameplay through a special menu. The mod supports transparent textures and high-resolution images for characters.
The main feature of this addition is that appearance changes are saved separately for each game world or server. This means that in different saves, your character can look completely different, creating a unique atmosphere for each gaming session.
Operation Features
The mod functions on the server side, so to use it, you need to install Local Looks on the server. It's important to note that when changing appearance, the player's name and title remain unchanged. Each use of the Magic Mirror consumes it, so to change appearance again, you'll need to create a new instance.

By default, new players automatically receive a Magic Mirror (this setting can be changed), and additional instances can be created using the provided crafting recipe.
Technical Requirements
Local Looks only works with square skins that match the 1:1 aspect ratio. The mod cannot independently find images on the internet - you need to provide a direct link to a file with a .png extension or other supported format.

For convenience, you can upload skins to reliable image hosting services or select files directly from a folder in the Minecraft directory.
Settings and Capabilities
The mod offers flexible settings for both clients and servers. You can adjust various parameters, including automatic distribution of mirrors to new players, single-use items, and support for skin transparency. Future updates plan to add a function for saving recently used skins, improved versions of mirrors, and support for animated textures.
