LongerDays
The modification fundamentally changes the game timeline, making day and night cycles longer. Now your world will experience truly long days!
Main principle of operation
Time automatically pauses at specific moments of the day. By default, the time pause activates at noon (stop for 10 minutes) and midnight (stop for 5 minutes). This results in the total duration of the day being 20 minutes instead of the standard 10, and night - 15 minutes instead of 5.

Flexible configuration
All parameters are easily customizable through the configuration file. You can specify:
- The exact time when the stop should occur
- The duration of each time pause
- Intervals for day and night stops
Compatibility with other mods
Working with Serene Seasons
When using together with Serene Seasons mod, cycle durations need to be synchronized. Open the Serene Seasons configuration file and set the total day length equal to what's configured in LongerDays. For example, with standard mod settings, the day lasts 35 minutes, which corresponds to 42000 ticks.
Known limitations
Currently, no conflicting modifications have been identified.
Additional information
Version 1.0.0
This was an experimental version with an alternative approach to increasing cycle durations. Time distortions could cause various side effects:
- Unstable sky display
- Issues with time calculations in other mods
- Inaccuracies in time tracking
Impact on game mechanics
Certain systems may incorrectly respond to changed time frames:
Server economies and timers - events depending on virtual days may trigger more frequently
