Loot Beams: Refork
A client-side modification that creates light beams above items dropped in the Minecraft world. This feature significantly simplifies the search for valuable items and resources, making them more noticeable on any background.
Features and capabilities
Excellent compatibility - the mod uses standard OpenGL graphics instead of custom shaders, ensuring stable operation with most popular shader packs. Issues with original mod compatibility have also been resolved.
Flexible configuration - offers numerous configuration parameters for complete control over the appearance and behavior of light beams. It is recommended to edit settings through the graphical interface rather than TOML files.
For developers - provides several events for monitoring and integration into other projects.
Modification compatibility
Tested compatibility includes:
- Apotheosis/Zenith - supports affix items, gems, and rarity materials
- Photon (only for version 1.20.1) - allows replacing standard effects with custom FX
- Mine and Slash - full support for all item rarity levels
- TieredZ/Tiered Reforged - uses item rarity from these mods (sound effects not available)
- Curios/Trinket/Triple accessories - recognizes artifacts as standard equipment
- Obscure Tooltips - automatic disabling of related functions
Technical details
This is a fork of the original Loot Beams: Relooted! mod, but with completely rewritten code to improve compatibility and expand functional capabilities.
