Loot Beams Retro
This client-side modification with extensive configuration displays light beams emanating from dropped items. By default, the beam colors depend on the item's rarity. When hovering over these beams, the item name appears in the air.
Key Features
Color Coding System
Items are automatically assigned colored beams based on their rarity: common, uncommon, rare, and epic.
Floating Labels
When hovering over a beam, the item name is displayed with the option to show stack quantity (e.g., "3x Cobblestone").
Extended Compatibility
❯ Legendary Tooltips support - beam colors depend on the 'bg_color' parameter in legendarytooltips.cfg configuration
❯ Item Borders compatibility - beams can be added through the 'manual_borders' setting in itemborders.cfg
❯ Works with Optifine and shaders - beams and text render without issues
Flexible Configuration
Comprehensive configuration system allows setting custom colors for individual items, fine-tuning display settings, and adjusting other aspects of the modification.
Future Plans
- Adding pop-up tooltips and legendary tooltips alongside names
- Implementing particle systems
- CraftTweaker integration
