Lorespawn - Logical Mob Spawning!
This mod completely changes the mob spawning system in Minecraft. Instead of random spawning in dark places, creatures now emerge from special source blocks scattered throughout the world.
How the System Works
When a player makes too much noise within a certain radius, mobs can awaken from nearby sources. In the current version, noise is created by:
- Block breaking
- Sprinting
This system will be refined in future updates for greater realism.
Progress and Danger
The longer you explore the world, the more it becomes cleansed of the dark magic that spawns monsters. However, be careful - the threat can return at any moment!
Impact on Gameplay
- Mob farms become more complex - a simple dark room no longer works. Alternative methods for obtaining drops are planned
- Fewer torches - if all mobs are changed, you won't need to cover the world with torches. But remember: mobs can spawn even in lit areas if there's a source nearby
- Different strategies - exploration, area blocking, destroying sources - all are effective protection methods
Spider Features
Spiders begin their life cycle as egg sacs. These blocks generate underground like ores. When you approach with noise, a spider may hatch from the sac and transform into cobweb blocks.
Connected egg sacs break simultaneously. When destroyed, they explode, creating cobwebs and a brood of baby spiders. Young spiders try to stay away from the player and each other. Over time, they find a suitable location to create a nest.
Spider nests work similarly to egg sacs, spawning an adult spider when a player is detected. But be careful - destroying a nest can be more dangerous than it seems! Nests can generate in various locations during world creation.
