Mod Overview

The LOS mod offers numerous useful blocks and mechanisms that seamlessly integrate with vanilla Minecraft aesthetics. If you're looking for a mod with dimensions and exotic items - this isn't for you. LOS focuses on practical additions while preserving the spirit of the original game.

Traps

The mod includes various trap types that deal damage upon activation:

• Iron trap - 1.5 damage per tick (3 half-hearts)
• Golden trap - 2.5 damage per tick (5 half-hearts)
• Diamond trap - 3.5 damage per tick (7 half-hearts)
• Emerald trap - 5 damage per tick (10 half-hearts)
• Ultimate trap - 20 damage per tick (creative only)

The bear trap deals 0.75 damage to players and 5 damage to polar bears in a single hit, then immobilizes the target until freed.

Traps can be rearmed in two ways: break and replace, or use the rearm tool from the creative tab. Traps can also be upgraded by right-clicking with appropriate materials.

Storage Systems

Stockers

These elegant chest alternatives are available in all vanilla wood types: oak, jungle, birch, spruce, acacia, and dark oak. Each features a unique interface.

Crates

Compact containers with 9 slots and custom interface.

Fluid Systems

Fluid Barrels

Wooden barrel stores 3 buckets of water, obsidian barrel stores 3 buckets of lava.

Big Barrel

Holds up to 14 buckets of water.

Food Systems

Cake Stacker

Can hold up to 2 cakes. Eating pieces restores hunger like regular cake.

Ender Fluid

Unique fluid that flows upward - useful for mountain climbing and unusual constructions.

Commands and Platforms

The /goup command creates a glass block beneath the player. Platforms and supports enable creation of aesthetic bridges and structures.

Emerald Gear

New emerald armor and weapons for style variety.

Phasing Blocks

When activated by redstone, become transparent and passable. Advanced phasing blocks activate neighboring blocks within 3-block radius.

Redstone Gravel and Other Mechanics

Redstone gravel becomes a falling block when activated. Speed cakes provide speed effect, cake slices available for inventory. Flying halo allows creative-like flight without fall damage.

Obsidian Boots and Crusher

Obsidian boots prevent death from falling. Crusher turns coal into diamonds through crafting system.

Storage Barrel

Unique container that cannot be opened with block above. Closes with cork via Shift+RMB.
