Lost Memories

This mod introduces a pseudo-hardcore mode that dramatically increases the consequences of player death. Upon dying, your character completely loses all memories of their past existence, essentially becoming a brand new character in the Minecraft world.

The key consequences include total reset of all statistics, forgetting all learned crafting recipes and achievements. You'll need to rediscover everything as if playing for the first time. Spawn location resets to default - previously established bed spawn points become ineffective. Tamed pets become free, and ender chest items drop upon death.

For Waystones mod users, all waystone locations are forgotten. To maintain the challenge, it's recommended to disable the game rule for keeping inventory after death.
