Loxi's Limited Lives
This Minecraft mod is inspired by the original Limited Lives where players lose one life with each death. However, this version has several significant differences.
Development was completed in 20 minutes upon request for a modded Minecraft server. The mod can be freely used in modpacks.
No client-side installation is required for playing on a server, except for singleplayer gameplay. One file supports both Fabric (with Fabric API installed) and Neoforge. Starting from version 2.0.0, Forge support has been discontinued.
Main Features
Each death results in losing a life (the quantity is adjustable in settings). When all lives are exhausted, the player either gets banned or switches to spectator mode (configurable option).
The key difference from ohaiiChun's Limited Lives mod is that players don't lose health hearts. Additionally, Fabric and Forge support is provided.
Useful commands with the prefix "ll" are available:
- set-Lives - sets the number of lives for a player
- get-Lives - shows the current number of player's lives
Configuration
The configuration file is located in the "config" folder of the Minecraft directory or server folder and is named "limitedlives-common.toml".
