Lucky Block Island
Basic Concept
This data pack creates a continuous flow of lucky blocks at coordinates (0, 0, 0). The automatic generation works continuously, providing constant access to the entertainment of breaking lucky blocks.
Technical Features
Ensuring Functionality
To prevent operational interference, the system clears obstacles around the point (0, 0, 0) every 10 seconds. This ensures stable appearance of lucky blocks. For player convenience, the respawn point is set directly above this location.
Additionally, the system clears vertical space from coordinate (0, 1, 0) to (0, 255, 0) to eliminate the possibility of object accumulation that could interfere with normal character respawns.
Gameplay Optimization
Player Convenience
All items appearing within a three-block radius of the lucky block are automatically moved to point (0, 1, 0) for easy collection. The game world is set to permanent daylight without weather changes to exclude poor visibility during block activation.
Players receive permanent bonuses in the form of night vision, glowing effect, and inventory retention after death, making the process more comfortable and engaging.
Performance
To maintain stable system operation, all entities are automatically removed once per minute. Execution of this operation is reported in the chat.
Setup Recommendations
For optimal performance, it is recommended to use a flat world with the "minecraft:air" preset and disabled structure generation. The data pack is best added when creating a new world.
In older game versions (below 1.16), where adding data packs during world creation is not possible, files must be manually placed in the appropriate save folder. Be sure to enable cheats so you can use the /reload command to load the data pack.
In versions below 1.18, there are limitations related to the generation height of some Lucky Block mod structures.
The data pack has broad compatibility with various Minecraft versions.
