Lucy's Sloths [Fabric]

Although development of this mod has officially ceased, you can still enjoy the sloths in my other modification "Mob Catalog". There's an option to disable all other creatures except the sloths, so their story continues!

Lucy's Sloths is a charming addition that populates Minecraft jungles with new slow-moving inhabitants.

Sloth Features

Two different sloth species await your encounter: three-toed and two-toed. The difference between them is easy to identify—just count the digits on their paws!

These unhurried creatures can move by crawling, though they do it extremely slowly. It's much more practical to simply pick up a sloth. Additionally, they swim well and skillfully climb trees.

Interesting Interactions

Sloths serve as a source of saplings! They are bred using regular leaves. Sometimes, a sapling of the tree species corresponding to the leaves you feed them sprouts on the pet's back. Such saplings can be carefully sheared off.

While swimming, sloths can also gather seagrass.

Technical Information

Important: this is a Fabric modification!

Installation requires first installing Fabric Loader, then adding to the mods folder the mod itself and Fabric API when manually installing.

Adding a Forge version of the mod is not planned, however porting is permitted with attribution.
