Important Note: This mod is designed for Forge and requires Forge installation for all Minecraft versions!
Diversity of Creatures
Lycanites Mobs adds over 100 unique creatures to the game that spawn in specific biomes and dimensions. Among them you'll find peaceful Makas - reptiles resembling mammals with huge sails on their backs (beware of alpha specimens!), and terrifying Grues - beings woven from shadow itself! Encounter angry elementals: Cinders emerging from large fires, or Spriggans appearing in tall grass and crop fields.
Taming and Summoning System
You can tame your own mount, such as a Warg, and bind it to yourself using a Soulstone. This allows you to summon and dismiss your pet at will, as well as resurrect it after death! Or perhaps you'd prefer crafting a Summoning Staff or Summoning Pedestal to call forth entire hordes of minions - both on the battlefield and to guard your base in your absence.
Crafting Unique Equipment
Lycanites Mobs features an equipment system - creatures sometimes drop equipment parts that can be assembled in an Equipment Forge. Create powerful weapons and tools with bizarre and amazing appearances depending on the combination of components used!
Extensive Dungeon System
The mod includes a highly customizable dungeon system through JSON files. You can add your own dungeons or completely modify existing ones. Each dungeon presents a serious challenge with a boss on every floor but promises generous rewards! You can also create your own dungeons through configuration files.
Grand Bosses and Random Events
The mod adds optional special events that can be activated through settings or with the /lm mobevents enable command. These events trigger at random intervals (easily configurable) and spawn waves of mobs! The mod also includes giant bosses like Rahovart, Asmodeus, and Amalgalich, who can be summoned by building an altar and using a Soul Key to activate a boss event.
Complete Customization
Lycanites Mobs features a highly customizable JSON spawning system giving full control over every creature's appearance. You can even manage the spawning of creatures from other mods or vanilla game if desired.
Alternative Textures
If you prefer blocky models in vanilla Minecraft style, check out the Lycanite's Mobs Redux resource pack by Spooky_Indominus and other talented 3D artists. This pack redesigns almost all the mod's creatures in blocky style.
Modpack Compatibility
You're free to include this mod in your public or private mod packs. The author believes all mods should be available for public packs since sharing aligns with the spirit of the Minecraft community!
