Mad Science - Scientific Experiments in Minecraft
Mad Science is a modification that transforms your Minecraft world into a full-fledged genetic laboratory. Originally created by Maxwolf, this project has been completely revised and updated to meet modern game standards while preserving the original style and concept.
Main Features
Genetic Material Collection
- Syringe - specialized tool for collecting DNA from creatures. Simply attack a mob with a syringe to obtain a genetic sample.
- Important to remember that collected DNA has limited shelf life and requires proper storage.
Laboratory Equipment
- Cryogenic Freezers - devices for long-term preservation of genetic samples, preventing their degradation.
- Genome Sequencer - apparatus for recording complete genomes onto special carriers. Additional DNA is required to complete the process.
Genetic Experiments
- Computer Mainframe - powerful system for stitching and combining various genomes using epigenetic markers and searching for matching genetic sequences.
- Hybrid Creation - combine similar genomes to obtain unique creatures such as Abomination, Wooly Cow, and many others.
Extensibility
The modification supports working with data packs, allowing you to add your own genomes for creatures and configure genetic matching parameters for creating unique hybrids.
