MagiChem: Alchemical Expansion for Mana and Artifice

Materia — The Foundation of All Existence

Materia represents the fundamental essence that makes up everything in the Minecraft world. Using processes based on real alchemical texts, you can break down items into basic components and then combine them to create almost any resource in the game.

Or infuse items with Materia and Experience to create powerful artifacts that will aid you in your adventures.

Alchemy from the First Days

MagiChem is useful from the very beginning of the game through the most challenging stages. Master convenient recipes that will make your first nights of survival easier — such as repairing anvils or converting dirt into grass and mycelium.

As you progress through Mana and Artifice, you'll unlock more powerful techniques and items worthy of a master alchemist.

Magical Mechanisms and Mysterious Factories

Start with a simple Alembic and gradually progress to complex magical devices that fit perfectly with the Mana and Artifice aesthetic. MagiChem expands the construct system with new tasks, allowing you to automate complex factories without needing external mods — no pipes or wires required.

You can also upgrade your mechanisms with powerful elemental modules, increasing their efficiency.

Three-Dimensional Redstone Magic

Transform redstone dust into Signalite, inspired by the Redcrystal from Automagy. Create three-dimensional structures and precisely control directional outputs to build compact mechanisms. Use an Admixture of Lies to make the wiring completely invisible, hiding it in plain sight. Eventually, you'll be able to create amazing devices like random number generators and wireless redstone signals that reach anywhere in the dimension!
