Маглев: Revolution in Minecraft Rail Transport
Discover a new era in railway travel! The Maglev modification introduces unique copper rails that allow minecarts to hover in the air, creating a futuristic transportation system.

Main Rail Types
Maglev Rail System

- Allow minecarts to hover up to 15 blocks above rails
- To activate hover mode, simply drop a minecart from regular track ends
- Available in all waxed and oxidized copper variants
Powered Maglev Rails

- Retain all standard maglev capabilities
- Additionally accelerate minecarts similar to regular powered rails
- Support all copper oxidation levels
Variable Maglev Rails

- Provide hovering similar to basic magnetic rails
- Adjust minecart hover height based on redstone signal level (0-15 blocks)
- Available in all oxidized copper variants
Key System Features
While hovering, minecarts completely lose friction and move absolutely silently. Movement speed directly depends on copper condition:
| Oxidation Level | Max Speed |
|---|---|
| Clean | 1.2 blocks/tick |
| Exposed | 0.8 blocks/tick |
| Weathered | 0.4 blocks/tick |
| Fully Oxidized | 0.1 blocks/tick |
Smart navigation on switched track and path preserving locomotivation mechanics allow for flexible network designs and multiple locomotive varieties, plus extended maneuverability and 3D spatial pathway resolution plus cross-dimensional locomotive automation.
The system "remembers" the active minecart track, enabling intersecting routes and complex interchanges. You can place blocks between rails and minecarts to create hidden transportation lines.
Important Note: During sharp turns or level transitions at high speed, a minecart may derail. To prevent this, reduce speed to weathered copper level.
Additional Features
All Maglev system rails can be accelerated for oxidation using a wet sponge. Currently, the modification is incompatible with experimental movement mechanics, but this functionality will be introduced in future updates.
