About the modification

This modification offers an extensive collection of functional items developed based on magnetic themes and their logical extensions.

Item varieties

Ore deposits

Magnetite - a new natural ore with generation and mining mechanics similar to iron ore. When broken, it drops raw magnets, allowing for predictable collection and precise timing control of mining.

Basic materials

  • Magnet fragments - obtained by smelting raw magnets. Used for crafting magnetic ingots and templates.
  • Magnetic iron ingots - crafted from fragments. Serve as the primary material for producing magnetic items.
  • Netherite magnetic ingots - netherite version intended for higher-tier items.
  • Magnet powder - produced from magnetic ingots. Used for creating attraction potions.
  • Magnetic levitation powder - synthesized from iron particles and magnet fragments. Applied in crafting maglev series blocks.
  • Demagnetized powder - byproduct of magnetic levitation powder synthesis. Used for making degaussing templates.

Synthetic materials

The crafting system includes these modules:

  • Crafting module - for creating basic and specialized magnets, requires magnetic ingots and fragments.
  • Restoration module - allows resetting magnetic tools back to templates and returning crafting modules.
  • Magnetic template - main component for manufacturing various magnetic devices.
  • Filter module - adds filtering capabilities to magnetic items. Filter interface opens via standard interaction.
  • Extraction module - consumable material for advanced grindstones.
  • Demagnetization module - used for synthesis controllers or demagnetizers.
  • Magnetic suction core - component for crafting magical gripping tools.

Magnetic tools

Several varieties of magnetic devices exist, each with unique functionality:

Polar magnet - basic model with item attraction radius of 25 blocks.

Electromagnet - beyond standard attraction, can instantly teleport dropped items to player inventory, costing 1 durability per item. Total durability of 768 points, restored using Ender pearls. Teleportation range of 20 blocks.

Permanent magnet - enhanced version with free teleportation capability. Attraction radius increased to 35 blocks.

Creature magnet - enables forced mob relocation. Durability is consumed during activation and accelerated operation mode. Repaired with golden apples.

Mining magnet - configurable appliance for automatic ore extraction across large player surroundings. Uses experience levels as energy cost with a cooldown period. Emeralds restore durability.

Magnetism controller - module for managing overall pulling capacity. Allows applying temporary degaussing effects. Has its own durability-based usage limitation.

Agricultural magnet - specialized equipment for harvesting agricultural crops across multiple chunks simultaneously. Similar in mechanics to mining magnet but consumes regular saturation instead.

Personal anti-magnet device - equipped as permanent inventory component, counters any attracting effects of alien subjects utilizing repulsive field solutions.

Mob system integration

Magnetic golem

Constructed by combining magnetic-style materials with typical artificial structures similar to standard golems.

  • Assist interaction via magnetic surfaces management cycle systems
  • Bulk reactive implementation supporting base components mapping
  • Injury recovery processes integrated for functional external gear systems
