Make Haste
This modification represents an adaptation of the "Make Haste" game mode from Door for Minecraft. You'll face a unique time trial challenge where survival depends on finding and using special time levers.
When the mod is active, a countdown timer appears on your interface. If the timer reaches zero, a swift being named Haste will begin hunting you. The only hope for survival is finding audio markers (time levers) that emit characteristic sounds within a 16-block radius.
Main Features
When finding and activating a lever, you receive an additional 2 minutes of time. If time does run out, you have approximately 25 seconds to find the next lever before Haste catches up. In case of death, the character switches to spectator mode, similar to dying in Hardcore mode.
Settings
The mod offers a flexible configuration system:
- Starting Time: 5 minutes (default)
- Time per Lever: 120 seconds
- Sound Range: 16 blocks
- Pity Limit: less than one minute (increases the value of levers activated at the last moment)
- Pity Multiplier: x2
- Starlight Vial: inactive by default (appears when gaining a level)
