MakeLag
Ever dreamed of experiencing that famous lag of one particular friend? No more waiting required.
This modification allows you to artificially create various types of gameplay delays!
Install it on a dedicated server, in a world with Essential Mod, or with e4mc technology support, then execute the simplest command /makelag start - and enjoy the effect of jumping ping to the fullest.
Latency will increase gradually, steadily enhancing gameplay difficulties. If you want to accelerate the development of "lag apocalypse", use the command /makelag progression skip <ticks>, specifying the required parameter (for example, 12000 to emulate 10-minute delay, 24000 for 20 minutes, and so on).
Key Features
- Client-side latency indicator - an activatable module displaying ping above the player's username
- Artificial lag generation - technology works on the server side without requiring client modifications, causing desynchronization, chaotic teleports, packet loss, and other unexpected effects
- Progressive system - delays develop in stages, creating a long-term effect of increasing problems rather than requiring manual adjustments
- Performance optimization - minimal system load, required only for the server, client part is optional and responsible solely for ping visualization
