Marbellous
Immerse yourself in the world of exquisite building materials with the Marbellous mod! This project offers players 14 unique varieties of marble that will radically transform your approach to building in Minecraft.
Main Features
Marble deposits make up approximately one-sixth of the world's underground space, making them sufficiently common for large-scale construction projects. All types of marble generate similarly to andesite, granite, and diorite, but usually in smaller quantities.
Marble Varieties
Marbles mined above Y0 level:
- Carrara
- Gold Carrara
- Blue Carrara
- Rose Carrara
- Black Carrara
These types can be mined with any pickaxe, even wooden.
Special marbles below Y0 level:
- Amethite
- Cappucine
- Dark Serpentine
- Emperador
- Galactite
- Obsidite
- Sodaline
- Tertrum
Mining these types requires at least an iron pickaxe, except for Obsidite, which requires a diamond pickaxe or better. Obsidite mines significantly faster than regular obsidian when using the correct tool.
Updates and Improvements
Version 1.3 added a new "Rough Polished" texture for all marble types. This texture represents an intermediate stage between regular and polished marble. To create polished marble through a crafting table, you must first create rough polished marble and then convert it to the polished version. However, using a stonecutter allows you to create polished marble directly from regular marble.
Compatibility
The mod is designed exclusively for Forge, and there are currently no plans to release a Fabric version.
