Master tools | elemental armor

Master tools mod expands Minecraft's armor system by offering an alternative progression path that branches off from diamond equipment instead of following the traditional netherite upgrade. It introduces three completely new armor sets, each accompanied by a unique weapon. Obtaining these items will be challenging, but their powerful abilities definitely justify the effort.

Although the mod is actively developed and not yet fully complete, it's fully functional and ready for use in your modpacks. We welcome your feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Important note: The mod requires Curios API to function.

To craft some armor elements, you'll need rare materials - sunsilver and shadowsteel. Be prepared to explore the deepest underground caves and highest mountain peaks in search of these valuable ores.

Watery Equipment

This set draws inspiration from ocean depths. Its creation requires significant amounts of water. The full set provides 22 armor points and grants the wearer abilities of swift swimming and water breathing.

The crafting process begins with turning wither skeleton skulls into wither bone fragments. Mix them with iron to create withiron. Then combine 9 water buckets into a water charm. Use it on a withiron block to obtain watery fragments. Combine them with withiron to create watery ingots, then add a diamond - you'll get a watery core. In a smithing table, the watery core and ingot allow upgrading diamond gear to the watery set. You can also create a watery spear that launches the player upward when used.

Infernal Set

Based on the fire element, this set provides 22 armor points and grants fire resistance. The set's weapon - "infernal hammer" - can create a powerful explosion when striking the ground.

Creation requires more thorough exploration of the Nether fortress, as blaze powder is needed for the charm. The crafting process is similar to the watery set, but shadowsteel ingots are used instead of withiron.

Blinding Set

The pinnacle of armor evolution in this mod - the blinding set grants speed, and its weapon allows striking enemies with lightning.

Creating this powerful equipment requires significant effort. You need to apply netherite scrap to lightning rods to get netherite lightning rods. Place them on copper blocks to obtain lightning charms (it's recommended to step back to a safe distance). Use the charm on withiron to get blinding fragments, then combine them with sunsilver to create blinding ingots. Combining sunsilver, blinding fragments, and a diamond yields a sunjewel shard, and nine such shards form a sunjewel used for creating the blinding core and blinding crown.

The weapon - blinding bolt - allows shooting blinding fragments that summon lightning at the impact point. It has almost 100% accuracy, enabling hitting targets at enormous distances.

The blinding crown grants night vision, glowing effect, and luck, and can be equipped in the head slot through Curios.
