MasterCutter

The stonecutter has become much more useful thanks to over 500 new recipes including wood processing, enhanced basic stone cutting, recycling, and item disassembly!

📥 Installation

Choose whether you want to install the data pack version or the mod version, and follow the corresponding instructions.

Data Pack

• 1) Download the data pack
• 2) Select the world where you want to install the data pack and navigate to the "datapacks" folder
• 3) Copy the downloaded data pack file (MasterCutter) into this folder
• 4) Enter the world and execute the /reload command

Mod

• 1) Download the mod
• 2) Navigate to the mods folder (for the standard launcher, the path is: .minecraft/mods)
• 3) Place the downloaded .jar file (MasterCutter) into this folder
• 4) Enter the world and execute the /reload command

The mod version is compatible with Fabric, Forge, and Quilt loader

MasterCutter adds over 500 new useful recipes for the stonecutter! The mod also provides convenient features, such as the ability to switch between variants of the same block (for example, from polished to basic), the capability to cut deepslate and stone into their cobbled forms and/or direct derivatives, and much more! ❗Note: Bamboo Blocks yield half the result compared to logs/wood/stems/hyphae because they are worth half as much. The only result that is not halved is the fence gate. A Block of Bamboo will still give you 1 fence gate.

🔮 Enhanced Basic Stone Cutting

This data pack/mod also enhances the basic stone cutting capabilities: 🔻 Stone Blocks • Stone can now be cut directly into cobblestone and its derivatives • Deepslate can now be cut directly into cobbled deepslate and its derivatives • Mossy variants of cobblestone and stone bricks can be converted back to their standard counterparts • Polished blocks (including slabs, stairs, and walls) can now be turned back into their unpolished forms Copper Blocks (all variants) • Copper Blocks can now be cut in a more efficient way! 1 copper block (any variant) can now also produce: • 4 copper doors • 4 copper trapdoors

Here are some additional features that don't fit into any specific category but are still useful: 🔻 • Mushroom Stems and Blocks can now be "stripped" like logs, revealing the pore textures (1.20.5+) • Cobwebs can be cut to obtain 9 strings • White wool can be cut to obtain 4 strings (the same amount used for creating a white wool block) • Iron Blocks can now be cut in the StoneCutter, providing a more convenient option to obtain its derivatives: 1 Iron Block 🔻 • 8 chains • 24 iron bars • 4 iron doors • 3 iron trapdoors • You can also disassemble it as you would in a normal crafting grid

📤 Uninstallation

Data Pack

To uninstall the data pack version, simply execute the /function mastercutter:uninstall command. When the uninstallation process is complete, a confirmation message will be sent to the chat.

Mod

To uninstall the mod version, you need to execute the /function mastercutter:uninstall command. Then close the game and remove the jar file from the .minecraft/mods folder.
