Materials Integration
This innovative mod completely reimagines the handling of basic resources in Minecraft. Instead of the standard material acquisition from breaking blocks, the game gains new mechanics that make resource gathering more universal and logical.
Main Features
Modified Drop System
When mining standard overworld blocks in Minecraft (logs, planks, stone, bricks, sand, dirt), you receive corresponding "Resources" instead of regular items. This creates a unified material system for crafting and building.
Universal Resources in Recipes
Collected resources can be used in place of original materials in any vanilla crafting recipes. For example, wood resources replace wood, and stone resources replace regular stone.
Processing in Stonecutter
Special resource processing capability in the stonecutter allows creating standard Minecraft items from them. This provides greater flexibility in material conversion.
Direct Block Placement
Holding resources in hand allows you to place corresponding blocks directly in the world. If targeting a compatible block type, the game will automatically place the appropriate variant.
Compatibility with Other Mods
Integration with MineColonies
The mod automatically replaces standard materials with unified resources in all basic artisan recipes (excluding food products). Note that plantations may not be supported by this system.
Collaboration with Farmer's Delight
Plant fiber and bark can be converted into Agricultural Waste, which is then used to create items related to plant fiber and bark.
