Miscellaneous Blocks Items & More
MBIM is a collection of small improvements that I added while playing modded Minecraft.
What's included in the current version of MBIM:
Compressed Blocks
Compressed versions of various blocks are available, including cobblestone, andesite, diorite, granite, dirt, sand, gravel, and netherrack. Each such block represents a compact version of the regular material.
Glass Recycling
A system for efficiently recycling glass items:
- Glass bottles transform into glass dust
- Any glass can be converted into glass dust
- Glass panes yield tiny glass dust
Tiny glass dust can be converted into regular glass dust, which can then be smelted into standard glass.
Chest Crafting Optimization
Improved crafting recipes:
- Using logs instead of planks allows creating 4 chests
- Adding a tripwire hook to a chest turns it into a trapped chest
Other Useful Changes
- Double the amount of flint when mining gravel
- Ability to obtain leather by smelting zombie flesh
Planned Features for version 1.12:
In development are: 129. Special unbreakable tools with unique properties (creative-only bow already available) 130. Stone pickaxes that repair themselves when mining stone materials 131. Fruit bushes for harvesting fruits, making salads and drinks 132. Regrowth bushes
The current version is designed for Minecraft 1.12 and doesn't require additional mods. Configuration options are currently unavailable.
Previously, there was a version called End Point with additional changes for other mods. The NEoA version was created specifically for use in an old modpack on TloveTech's subserver.
