MC Dungeons Enchanting - Enchanting System from Minecraft Dungeons

This mod completely transforms the standard enchanting system in Minecraft, replacing it with mechanics from Minecraft Dungeons. Important: the mod does not add new enchantments, but provides an alternative way to obtain existing spells.

New Enchanting Blocks

The mod introduces three specialized blocks that fundamentally change the equipment enhancement process:

Runic Table - the main block replacing the standard enchanting table. It generates a random list of available enchantments for each item, making the process more predictable and strategic.

Roll Bench - allows you to re-enchant one specific spell per use. The cost of re-enchanting depends on the spell level and requires lapis lazuli.

Gilding Foundry - a special installation that uses gold ingots to apply a random permanent level 1 enchantment to an item. This enchantment is not counted during regular enchanting and cannot be changed or removed.

Crafting Recipes

All three blocks have their own crafting recipes that are displayed in EMI, REI, and the standard Minecraft recipe book.

Compatibility

The mod integrates perfectly with other Minecraft Dungeons series mods:

• MC Dungeons Weapons - weapons from Minecraft Dungeons • MC Dungeons Armors - armor from Minecraft Dungeons • MC Dungeons Artifacts - artifacts from Minecraft Dungeons

Starting from version 1.2.0, you can independently add enchantments from other mods through configuration files and resource packs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why doesn't the mod work with Optifine? Optifine has closed source code and heavily modifies the game, making compatibility impossible. We recommend using alternatives: Sodium for FPS optimization, Iris for shaders, and Indium for rendering compatibility.

Can I use the mod in my modpack? Yes, you can freely use the mod in your modpacks.

Forge support? The mod is compatible with Forge through the use of Sinytra Connector, Connector Extras, and Forgified Fabric API.

Porting to older versions? The mod is supported starting from version 1.19.2 and above.
