Modification for Competitive Speedrunning in Minecraft
This mod transforms regular speedrunning into exciting real-time competition! Players compete on identical seeds with matching random number generation, striving to defeat the Ender Dragon faster than their opponent.
Core Functionality
Each run takes place in a single-player world, but all gameplay data is transmitted to the server via web sockets. You can track your opponent's progress through real-time information received from the server.
Game Modes
Ranked Matches
- Compete against players of similar skill level
- Use identical seeds and conditions for fair competition
- Increase your ELO rating by outperforming your opponent
Casual Matches
- Perfect for practice without rating loss risk
- Random opponents for varied gaming experience
Private Rooms
- Unlimited games with any players
- Customizable seeds and various parameters
Season Leaderboard
Track the top players of the current season directly in-game! Challenge the top 100 speedrunners and aim for leading positions.
Communication System
During each match, chat with your opponent is available. If you encounter toxic behavior, use the blocking or reporting functions.
The report button is located in the lower left corner of the match selection screen.
UUIDs of blocked players are saved in the mute_players.txt file in the home directory.
Discord Integration
Your gaming achievements are displayed in your Discord profile! This feature can be disabled in settings if desired.
Automatic Updates
To prevent conflicts, the latest mod version must be used. The automatic update installer simplifies this process:
- Notification appears when new version is detected
- Minecraft restart required after updating
- Old versions automatically removed from mods folder

- Fabric Loader 0.14.11+
- SpeedRunIGT 13.6+
Mod Restrictions
Only mods from the approved list are permitted to ensure fair play. Using unauthorized mods will cause game crash with identification of the problematic mod.
