Smeltery IO - Tinkers Construct Smeltery Automation
This addon is designed to expand the functionality of the Tinkers Construct smeltery, offering process automation and work acceleration. Inspired by Tinker I/O, it maintains similar concepts but with unique features.
The main idea of the mod is using snowballs as fuel to speed up casting. This unusual solution adds an interesting gameplay element that requires organizing snowball production.
Fuel Controller
This block uses solid fuel to heat the smeltery to significantly higher temperatures compared to liquid fuel. However, standard liquid fuel is still required for basic smeltery operation. Heating speed can be increased using speed upgrades.
Casting Machine
The heart of the mod is the casting machine, which uses snowballs as fuel for creating items. Functionality includes:
- Accelerating the casting process with speed upgrades
- Control via redstone signals
- Increasing output capacity
- Switching between casting and basin modes
- Full automation when unlocking slots for casts and upgrades
Item extraction is only possible with an empty reservoir and completed processing.
Smeltery Input
Special block for automatic item feeding into the smeltery controller. Compatible with any transportation systems: hoppers, pipes, conveyors, and other mods.
