MD Unit Robots
This mod introduces mechanized combat units, defensive structures, and special constructions that can be raided for valuable loot.
Important Feature
For proper mod functionality, you must be part of a team - otherwise your own units may attack each other.
Compatibility with Other Mods
The mod interacts with popular additions: with Ice and Fire, dragons receive damage limitation and enhanced regeneration; with Alex's Caves, tremorzilla gains additional health and protective shield; when used with Warium or Create Big Cannons, turrets can intercept artillery projectiles; with Omnimobs, regular flashfur receives 2000 shield units.
Unit Features
A total of 62 different types of combat units are available. Level 7 units are resistant to destruction commands - for their neutralization, you'll need to use mass mob elimination methods or teleportation over significant distances. These creatures have high damage resistance and are effective against targets with high durability.
Known Issues
- In multiplayer mode, when the unit owner leaves the server or transitions to another dimension, other players in the team may be attacked by these units
- Large flying units may cause delays when finding paths to the ground or pursuing fast-moving targets
- With the Damage Indicators mod, the observer causes crashes when taking damage
- Turrets continue shooting at the location of the target's last death after its destruction
Development Plans
Automatic assignment of units to the player and complete revision of the crafting system have already been implemented. In the future, the addition of storyline elements through collaboration with Crossking is planned.
