Mechanical Arm

This combination of datapack and resource pack introduces a unique item - the Mechanical Arm. This special device dramatically expands the player's capabilities when placing and breaking blocks over significant distances.

The creation of this mechanic was inspired by the famous crab claw that participated in the 2023 mob vote but never made it into the final version of the game.

With the Mechanical Arm equipped, the standard interaction distance increases from 5 blocks to an impressive 8. This works both with regular tools for resource gathering and when placing new blocks in the world.

Important limitation: this datapack was created specifically for the new 1.20.5 snapshots and will NOT function on previous versions of Minecraft.

The resource pack is an integral part of this addition and is necessary for the proper operation of all functionality.

Known feature: the resource pack may display information about an incompatible version, but this does not affect its functionality - the problem is related to technical features of the update.
