This Minecraft modification introduces a mechanical pump designed for fluid transportation. While the device consumes liquid resources, effectively draining large water bodies requires additional functionality through a limited water system modification.

Operational Mechanism

The pump operates based on priority pumping: it consistently begins with source blocks positioned at the highest accessible Y level and located farthest from the pump itself. This systematic approach ensures orderly and logical draining of water basins.

Technical Specifications

The device's operational radius spans 96 blocks (equivalent to 6 chunks or approximately 30,000 blocks). Processing capacity reaches up to 1,000 blocks per game tick, ensuring no impact on game performance. By utilizing TreeSet for distance-based block sorting, optimal operational efficiency is achieved.

Pumping speed translates to one block per complete mechanism rotation. In extensive aquatic environments, this translates to approximately one block every one and a half seconds, independent of energy input volume.

High Priority for Upper Levels

A crucial operational feature is the pump's consistent preference for water positioned at higher elevations. Should the device detect water blocks at a higher Y level than the current scanning zone, it completely discontinues current processing and transitions to upper level examination in search of sources.
