Cobalt's Mending Rebalance

The Mending enchantment is widely recognized as one of the most overpowered charms in Minecraft - this modification aims to address this issue. In the vanilla game, Mending completely eliminates the need for an anvil - just build an experience farm and the problem is solved. This mod restores the practical value of the anvil and grindstone, introducing the following key changes:

Multi-Level System

Mending now has 5 power levels instead of a single level. Each subsequent level significantly increases the efficiency of item durability restoration.

Repair Limit

Each level establishes a specific durability restoration limit. For example, Mending level I can restore up to 25% of tool durability or up to 17% of armor durability. This limit increases with each level, reaching complete restoration at enchantment level V.

Potion of Mending

In addition to the reworked enchantment, a new mechanic has been added - the Potion of Mending, which doesn't consume experience orbs when used. Its effectiveness depends on the level, similar to the enchantment. To create the potion, you need to brew the corresponding Mending book or an item with a specific level of this enchantment into an awkward potion.
