Introduction to Magic and Automation
This modification offers a unique set of blocks and items designed to simplify inventory management and automate certain gameplay processes. Many features are quite powerful and may seem game-balance breaking, reminiscent of the famous Reliquary mod, though all concepts are completely original.
DEVELOPMENT FEATURES
This mod was created during two weeks of work with version 1.14.4 and continues to actively develop. Additional multiplayer testing is required, so the author would appreciate reports of any found errors.
BLOCKS AND THEIR ABILITIES
Key World Transformers
Ender Keystone - allows instant movement across terrain by "teleporting" in the direction of view between established stones
Interloper - a deadly observer counterpart that destroys enemies when activated and leaves them with one health unit in normal mode (except for bosses)
Automation Systems
Lifeless Spawner - a blank for spawner waiting for creature input using Soul Tome
Specialized Hoppers:
- Condensing Hopper uses spatial magic to transform weak rocks into more durable ones
- Expanding Hopper performs an almost opposite function
Process Accelerators
Enticing Prism - accelerates the work of fishing bobbers within range (effects stack)
Growth Pulser - activates instant growth of agricultural crops every 10 seconds (does not stack)
Practical Inventions
Ender Vacuum - collects nearby items, disabling their physics for convenient crop collection through walls and floors
Mercurial Grindstone - reduces the cost of repairing and upgrading items using Mercurial Blend or removes enchantments using books
Frugal Anvil - an indestructible anvil that reduces repair and combination costs to one third of normal
MAGICAL ITEMS
Navigation Tools
Crystal Compass - indicates direction to diamonds, emeralds, lapis lazuli, Nether quartz and glowstone (possibly the most powerful item in the mod)
Cubing Talisman - automatically creates blocks from 9 identical items in inventory when having a full stack
Organizational Assistants
Moderating Geode - absorbs excess resources when mining, leaving only one stack of each type
Potion Belt - stores up to 255 potions, supports stack size of 1, and preserves empty bottles
Quiver - similar to potion belt but designed for different types of arrows, including spectral and tipped arrows
Magical Artifacts
Soul Tome - captures the soul of a weakened enemy to create a corresponding spawner
Mending Ember - repairs equipment with Mending enchantment directly from experience reserves
Enchanting Star - a reward for defeating the Wither that slowly generates experience
Ethereal Mallet - a container whose active items continue to function inside
Mercurial Blend - a key resource for crafting and operating the grindstone
GETTING STARTED
To start, create Mercurial Blend (redstone dust + sugar + black dye + slime ball) and combine it with a book, thus obtaining the Manual of Use containing all necessary instructions.
