Meta Changer - Block Metadata Modification Tool
This mod unlocks new possibilities for using texture packs with Connected Textures support in survival mode. Now you can apply popular resource packs like Cocricot and Minia Turia not just in creative mode!
Main Features
Meta Changer allows you to modify metadata for almost all standard Minecraft blocks in survival mode. The only exceptions are mob spawners, flower pots, flowers, mob heads, and agricultural crops. Blocks from other mods are also not supported.
How to Use
Simply hold Meta Changer in your hand and:
- Right-click in the air to change the tool's color
- Right-click on a block to change its metadata to the current Meta Changer color
- Hold Shift and right-click to change metadata for all identical blocks within 128 blocks along the selected axis
Additional Functions
The tool has two orientations - vertical and horizontal. Press Shift+right-click to switch between them. Vertical Meta Changer works along the Y axis, while horizontal works along X and Z axes.
For blocks that can be obtained in inventory, there are special crafting recipes. The Meta Changer itself is not consumed and is returned to you.
With this tool, you can create blocks that are normally unavailable in the game, as well as perform various technical manipulations, such as rotating pistons - similar to the debug stick from version 1.13.
