LOTR MiddleEarth Tweaks - The Lord of the Rings
Main Features of the Modification
This mod is created as an addition to The Lord of The Rings Mod Legacy - LOTR (required dependency) and offers numerous gameplay improvements.
Building Elements
Added vertical slabs, as well as slabs, stairs and walls made of wool and tree bark. Bark blocks have been introduced that don't require new block IDs. All these elements can be disabled in settings.
Combat System Improvements
The mod introduces significant enhancements to the hiring and unit management system. Added advanced guard mode, mass unit assignment through interface (U key), hired squad tracking and inventory management. Hired units can now use upgraded ranged weapons and conquer territories for their own faction.
Bug Fixes
Eliminated numerous issues of the original mod: fixed projectile errors, problems with unit loss during teleportation, improved bombardier functionality in protected areas. Also fixed vanilla Minecraft bugs such as inability to hit entities after respawn and non-functional death screen buttons when resizing window.
Commands and Settings
Added new commands for gameplay management: /conquestdecay for conquest control, /cfarview for extended view distance, /conqClear for clearing specific faction conquests. Also introduced entity management commands: /entitykill, /entitytp, /entityeffect and /entitystack.
Customization
The mod offers high customization - every feature can be enabled or disabled through configuration files. Ability to configure mount speeds, stack effects, improve stew stack sizes and much more.
Additional Improvements
Improved food mechanics - berries and similar items are now consumed faster for balance. Hoes can harvest hay, reeds and other blocks. Enhanced trapdoor and fence gate placement. Added half-trolls with additional capabilities including stone thrower units.
The mod is continuously developed and adds new features to enhance the gaming experience in Middle-earth.
