Mind of the Colony is a revolutionary addon for MineColonies that breathes life into every resident of your settlement. Using cutting-edge Player2 AI technology, this mod transforms silent workers into living, feeling individuals with unique personalities, memories, and voices.

Key Features

🗣️ Real Conversations, Not Scripts: Approach any resident and talk to them using natural language in chat. No clunky menus or predefined phrases. Ask them how their day is going, what they need, or what they think about your latest building project.

🧠 Living Personalities: Each resident's character is dynamically shaped by their life in the colony. Their job, happiness level, family, and recent events—all of this influences their responses. Your cheerful baker will speak very differently from a guard who just survived a pirate attack!

💡 Aware Citizens: Colonists know if the warehouse is full, if their tools are about to break, or if it's nighttime. They will complain, celebrate, and share gossip based on the actual state of your settlement.

🏡 New Management Approach: Now managing your colony isn't just about spreadsheets and numbers. To make residents truly happy, you'll need to listen to their problems and help them. They'll tell you what they need—just ask!

Simple 2-Step Setup

Making your colony talkative is incredibly easy!

Step 1: Artificial Intelligence (Requires Player2 App)

The advanced AI that gives residents unique personalities runs through the Player2 desktop application. This is like the "brain" for your NPCs. This is required for the mod to work.

1. Download the Player2 app
2. Install and run the program. It will run in the background and automatically connect to your game.

Step 2: The Mod Itself

This is a standard Forge mod that works alongside MineColonies.

1. Make sure you have Forge and MineColonies installed
2. Download the latest version of Mind of the Colony from the Files tab
3. Place the JAR file in the mods folder
4. Launch Minecraft!

How to Play

It's as simple as walking and talking:

1. Load a world with a MineColonies settlement
2. Approach any of your residents
3. Open the chat and say hello!

That's it! Nearby residents will hear you and respond. Try asking them questions about their work, family, or the state of the colony.
