MineAmp
Turn Minecraft into a full-fledged music player! With this mod, you can enjoy your favorite tracks right during gameplay, playing files in MP3, OGG, WAV, M4A, and FLAC formats.
Main Features
Open the music interface by pressing the J key in-game. Playback controls are intuitive: P - pause/play, [ and ] - track switching, - and = - volume adjustment. All these keys can be reassigned or disabled in Minecraft's control settings.
The mod remembers the last used folder and volume level, making it extremely convenient to use. Simply double-click on a file to start playback. You can also adjust volume and seek within tracks.
Supported Formats
- Audio files: MP3, OGG, WAV, M4A, FLAC
- Playlists: M3U, PLS

Development Plans
- Improved on-screen display (OSD)
- "Now playing" field in the interface
- Editable current directory field
- ID3 and OGG tag reading
- Play queue functionality
- Shuffle mode
- Playlist creation and editing
Known Issues
Occasional difficulties with MP3 files with variable bitrate (VBR). In M4A files encoded with lossless ALAC codec, seeking works correctly except for mono recordings - in them, seeking breaks after 25% of playback.
