Minecraft Backrooms Found Footage
Immersion in Found Footage Atmosphere
This mod completely transforms Minecraft's visual perception, giving the game the characteristic style of documentary footage and "found tapes." To achieve this effect, special shaders and camera filters based on Veil technology are used.
Important: The mod is incompatible with Sodium and Iris. Technical issues may also occur when using integrated graphics and on macOS devices.
Journey Through the Backrooms
The main feature of the modification is the ability to enter the famous Backrooms. To do this, you need to subject your character to suffocation for an extended period using any method. After this, you will find yourself in a maze of corridors and rooms consisting of five levels:
- Level 0 — Classic infinite office spaces
- Level 1 — Habitable zone with industrial elements
- Level 2 — Maze of pipelines and technical tunnels
- Poolrooms — Mysterious pool rooms
- Infinite Grass Field — Unique location with special atmosphere
Management Commands
For convenience during gameplay, several commands are available:
- /skinwalker
— Forced creation of a skinwalker that copies the appearance of the specified player - /release
— Freeing the target from skinwalker control - /backroomsevent
— Manual triggering of special events - /gimmemyinventoryback
— Restoring character inventory before entering the Backrooms - /level
— Instant teleportation to the specified level
Requirements and Recommendations
For stable operation, it is necessary to:
- Install Simple Voice Chat and Geckolib
- Avoid using Sodium or Iris mods
- Select "Fast" or "Fancy" graphics (avoid "Fabulous!")
- Do not remove Veil's deferred resource pack

- Skinwalker does not spawn automatically in single player
