Mineify [DISCONTINUED]
With Mineify, every player can upload their own sounds and music to the server and play them for other participants anywhere in the world, with no resource pack required—audio is loaded directly from the server.
For the mod to work, ffmpeg is needed to upload custom sounds and music! Download the ffmpeg binaries for your operating system from the official website and place them in an "ffmpeg" folder inside your Minecraft installation directory (default: .minecraft). This dependency exists because Minecraft only supports ogg format files, so all audio files are automatically converted using ffmpeg before uploading.
Advantages Compared to Resource Packs
- Clients don't need additional resource packs (loading and reloading packs can take a long time, especially in large modpacks).
- Sounds become available immediately after uploading.
- Each player can upload their own sounds and music without all clients needing to download a new resource pack.
- Streaming from the server.

Supported Versions
A Fabric version of this mod is currently not planned, and the mod is mainly being ported to newer versions. Please don't ask when the update for version X will be released, as I don't know myself. The update will come when I have time and it's ready.
