Mini-boss Boss Bars - Health Bars for Mini-Bosses

This mod adds special health bars for powerful enemies from various mods that aren't considered full bosses and therefore don't have their own indicators. Now creatures like the Elder Guardian and Warden from vanilla Minecraft, as well as many other mini-bosses from popular modifications, will display their health level during combat, as befits true bosses.

How Health Bars Work

Health bars don't appear immediately when a mini-boss spawns, but only after the player deals at least one hit to it. If the player moves more than 60 blocks away from the enemy, the indicator will hide and reappear only after the next attack. This prevents cluttering the screen with unnecessary health bars from enemies the player isn't interacting with.

Additional Features

For testing or special events, you can use the command /mbbbforceshowbossbars (in version 1.20.1) or /trigger mbbbforceshowbossbars (in version 1.21.1) to forcibly enable the display of all health bars.

If you need to disable health bars for specific bosses, you can use datapacks by adding the tag #minibossbossbars:boss_exception to them. For bosses from datapacks, use the command /tag @e[parameters] add minibossbossbars.boss_exception via a function in the datapack.
