Mining Dimensions [FABRIC]

Adds six additional dimensions for resource gathering and exploration

⚠️ Important Warning

Sleeping in a bed in any of the new dimensions will cause an explosion!

Dimension Descriptions

Mining Dimension

Two biomes (desert and plains), always noon. Contains the same ores and structures as the regular Overworld.

Climbing Dimension

Two biomes (badlands and wind-swept hills), always noon. Ores and structures are similar to the regular Overworld.

Hunting Dimension

Only plains biome, constant darkness, populated with enhanced armored mobs. Only vanilla ores. Mobs are very powerful - be careful!

Caving Dimension

Safe haven in the form of mushroom biome caves. Same ores as the Overworld. Only spawns bats and occasional spiders in mineshafts.

Nethering Dimension

Pure vanilla Nether, useful for finding standard resources when the regular Nether is filled with modded biomes. Note: some structures from the Better Nether mod may appear here.

Sky Dimension (1.21+)

Void dimension with daytime lighting.

Travel Methods Between Dimensions

Traditional Portals (pre-version 1.21)

Built from portal blocks of corresponding colors and activated with the Portal Lighter (diamond and steel).

Portable Teleporters

Six teleporters for each dimension, allowing travel between the regular Overworld and dimensions. Teleporting to the Sky Dimension automatically creates an oak plank under the player to prevent falling.

Portal Block Method (1.21+)

Right-clicking on a placed portal block teleports to the corresponding dimension. If a portal block exists in the target dimension within a 3x3 chunk area, the player appears above it. If no block exists, one is created under the player. For convenience, you can enable chunk border display (F3+G). Settings allow expanding the search area to 5x5 chunks.

Teleport Pads (1.21+)

Precise one-way teleportation method between any locations and dimensions. The Spatial Capture Tool records destination coordinates. Right-clicking a teleport pad with this tool sets the destination point.

Additional Features

• Recipe for smelting netherite gear into netherite scrap (useful in the Hunting Dimension)
• "Returning" enchantment for portable teleporters - Shift+right-click returns to the last used bed (requires sleeping first)

Note: If you're using the Gobber mod (1.16.5) for Fabric, you don't need this mod as the dimensions are already included in it.
