Minium Minor Edition

This mod adds three original ores and numerous useful items to Minecraft that will help you in the early stages of the game and provide an alternative to standard iron gear.

New Ores

Minium

The mod's main ore, generated in the range from Y=-32 to Y=96 in the overworld. Not related to Fuzs's Minium Stone.

You can create tools and armor from this ore using standard recipes. Tools mine faster than iron ones and have 1.5 times the durability. Armor offers slightly better protection, but the main advantage is the Resistance effect when wearing a full set.

Osmium

Generated in the range from Y=-64 to Y=96 in the overworld. Used in recipes for some of the mod's items and can be integrated with other mods. Texture borrowed from Mekanism.

Iris Quartz

A rare ore generated in the range from Y=-64 to Y=-32, never appears in open areas. Less common than diamonds.

Creating tools requires the Iris Quartz Smithing Template, which can be found in End City chests. Gear made from this ore surpasses Netherite, has fire and lava protection, and when worn as a full set grants Resistance, Absorption, and other effects.

Concentrated Minium Alloy

Crafted from 8 Minium and 1 Osmium at a crafting table. In a smithing table, you can upgrade Minium tools to this alloy, and chainmail armor to alloy armor.

Tools are slightly faster than Minium, durability is slightly higher than diamond but lower than Netherite. Armor protection is equivalent to diamond, but grants the Resistance effect when wearing a full set.

Iris Quartz tools are created by upgrading Concentrated Minium in a smithing table.

New Tools

Multitool

Combines a pickaxe, shovel, axe, and hoe into one item with durability equal to three separate tools. Functionality includes:

• Extracting raw materials from sea lanterns, glowstone, and honeycomb blocks
• Turning obsidian into crying obsidian
• Right-click functions of shovel and axe
• Reducing TrialSpawner cooldown to 9/10

Energy Gun

Fires energy using metals or gems as charges. Charged with an item in the off-hand. Available charges can be viewed through REI or EMI.

Supports enchantments: Energy Boost (increases damage, found in mine shaft chests) and Looting.

Deepslate Miner

Destroys deepslate or tuff in a 5×5×5 block area in front of the selected block. Disposable item - disappears after use. Crafted from 4 iron ingots, 4 Minium ingots, and a redstone block.

Wind Exploder

Creates an explosion at your feet when used. Comes in standard and advanced versions, the latter supporting Unbreaking and Mending enchantments.

Spear

Increases attack range to 2 blocks (3 blocks for Iris Quartz). Attacks single targets, helps avoid unwanted fights. Supports damage-enhancing, Unbreaking, Mending, and Looting enchantments.

Elytra and Accessories

Iris Quartz Pendant

Allows healing from poison, protects from fall and collision damage. When dying, it is consumed and revives you with a one-minute cooldown. In the void, teleports you to spawn or high up with slow falling.

With full Iris Quartz set reduces damage, including wither damage, and enhances effects.

With Trinkets mod can be equipped in the necklace slot.

Elytra Enhancement

Six Iris Quartz ingots enhance elytra. Combined with Iris Quartz chestplate transforms elytra into protective elytra. Both options grant full set bonuses.

Boost key (default G) during flight creates an explosion for acceleration with a 5-second cooldown.

With Elytra Slot can be equipped in the cape slot.

New Blocks

Easy Grinder

Damages mobs, makes them drop experience but not rare drops that only drop from player kills.

Advanced Grinder

More powerful version, mobs drop loot as if killed by players.

Easy Conveyor

Moves mobs in the direction it's placed. Mobs do not spawn on this block.

Compatibility

Farmer's Delight

Adds knives made from the mod's ores.

Trinkets

Allows equipping Iris Quartz Pendant in the necklace slot.

Elytra Slot

Allows equipping Iris Quartz Elytra in the cape slot.
