MiscTweaks

A Minecraft mod that fixes various gameplay inconveniences and makes playing more comfortable. It's light on resources and runs smoothly.

Server-side Benefits

Creepers now drop all items destroyed by explosions instead of them disappearing without a trace. Berry bushes only cause damage if the player isn't sneaking or doesn't have leg armor equipped. Compasses can easily be linked to lodestones thanks to modern features. Cobwebs catch fire from flames and gradually burn away.

When flying with elytra and hitting water, there's an automatic switch to swimming mode underwater. Armor doesn't take durability damage from Thorns and Soul Speed enchantments.

Mining obsidian-like blocks is faster. Developers of other mods can add their own hard materials via data packs. Any music discs can appear in loot chests, not just specific ones as before. Shulkers duplicate from shulker projectiles only with a separate setting enabled.

Client-side Features

The shield in the offhand is positioned slightly lower, showing more of the surroundings without completely blocking the view. Custom shields from other mods are supported in the configuration.

All toggleable features are available in the mod's settings menu.

The Fabric version requires owo-lib. Settings are accessed through Mod Menu. The NeoForge version has no additional requirements.
