About Mo' Creatures Mod
Mo' Creatures is a popular mod created by developer DrZhark that first appeared on November 17, 2010. This addition enriches the Minecraft world with over 80 new mobs, including various animals, monsters, and creatures, some of which can be tamed and used as transportation. In December 2019, original development was discontinued, and the project became open source.
About Mo' Creatures Extended Project
Mo' Creatures Extended represents an officially DrZhark-approved continuation of mod support exclusively for Minecraft version 1.12.2. This fork is completely free of external dependencies, contains cleaned code, and fixes most known bugs. An important improvement was the integration of mob spawning system through standard game means, eliminating the need for Custom Mob Spawner and significantly increasing compatibility with other modifications.
IMPORTANT: This mod will remain on version 1.12.2, porting to other versions is not planned!

Update Recommendations
When transitioning from original Mo' Creatures:
- Remove Custom Mob Spawner
- Delete MoCreatures configuration folder
Solving Spawning Issues
If problems occur with creature appearance:
- Adjust frequency parameters in MoCreatures.cfg file
- Use Universal Tweaks mod to increase spawn limits
- For modpacks, spawn weight adjustment through BiomeTweaker may be required
- Experiment with World Gen Spawning settings in MoCSettings.cfg
