Mob Banners

This mod introduces special banners dedicated to various mobs into the game. Every creature in Minecraft gets its own unique decorative banner that can be earned through combat. To obtain a banner for a specific mob, you need to defeat 50 representatives of that species. For example, by eliminating 50 zombies, you'll receive the corresponding zombie banner.

The placed banner affects the surrounding area: all mobs of the same type as shown on the banner receive slowness and weakness effects, making them easier to deal with.

Features and Configuration

The mod supports all creatures that have spawn eggs available - this includes both vanilla mobs and those added by other mods. Kill tracking only begins after installing Mob Banners, previous achievements are not counted.

To obtain a banner, you must defeat 50 identical mobs (this amount can be changed in the settings). Each banner type is given to the player only once. If you don't want the weakening effects from banners, they can be disabled through the configuration file.
