Mob Dice Attributes
This mod transforms standard mob attributes in Minecraft into dynamic value ranges using tabletop RPG dice mechanics. Instead of fixed stats, mobs now receive random characteristics within a specific range, while average values remain close to vanilla.
How It Works
The system takes existing mob attributes and converts them into dice formulas. For example, a regular zombie has 20 health points (10 hearts) upon spawning. Using a six-sided die (D6), the calculation looks like this:
3d6+10 = range from 13 to 28, average value = 20
This means each new zombie will have a random amount of health within the specified range, adding an element of unpredictability to the game.
Settings and Configuration
The mod offers flexible settings:
- Choice of dice type (D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20)
- Range value adjustment
- Bonus modifier regulation
- Ability to select specific mobs for system application
This system makes every encounter with mobs unique and unpredictable, adding depth to gameplay.
