Mob Friendly Fire - Overview
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: This mod is in alpha development stage and may contain bugs. Use with caution.
Accidentally hit your loyal dog during combat? A familiar situation for many players. Unpleasant encounters with iron golems or endless chases by zombified piglins in the Nether? All these problems can now be solved with this modification.
Mob Friendly Fire offers a simple and effective solution to the common problem of accidental attacks on neutral or friendly creatures.
How to Use

A special button will appear in the survival inventory, allowing you to add a mob identifier to the protected list. An alternative option is to enter identifiers through the configuration file. To restore the ability to attack the mob, simply press the remove button. It's important to note that protection applies to all creatures of that type - for example, if you add a villager to the list, all villagers will become immune to player damage. Note: multiplayer mode has not been tested.
Compatibility
The mod is compatible with most popular modifications, however exceptions are possible due to differences in damage detection system implementation in other mods. A known issue exists with MCA - physical damage is blocked, but villagers from this mod may still show aggression.
Modpack Usage
Free use in modpacks is permitted.
