Mob Grinding Utils

This modification is designed to inspire players to create efficient systems for farming mobs, obtaining their loot and experience. Users get access to a comprehensive set of modular tools that allow them to maximize efficiency in mob farms. The mod includes various blocks, items, and useful features.

Important Note: Version 1.11.2 requires Forge-1.11.2-13.20.0.2299 or later to function. Older Forge versions may cause crashes when using tanks.

Mob Fans

Special devices that move creatures and players in the direction they face. Allow pushing mobs in all directions, including vertical movement. Fans support three types of upgrades: width, height, and range. Upgrades are installed through the block's interface and activated with redstone. Can be used to create mob launchers and air elevators.

Fan Upgrades

Width: Expands the working area horizontally

Height: Increases the vertical impact zone

Distance: Extends the pushing range

Absorption Hopper

A block that collects items and experience orbs within a 3-block radius (can be extended with upgrades). The internal tank holds 16 buckets of liquid experience, plus a spacious container for loot. Configurable on all sides to push items into inventories or liquids into tanks. When broken, drops all items but loses fluid.

Absorption Hopper Distance Upgrade

Singularity Tank

Portable liquid container with a 32-bucket capacity. Preserves contents when broken, making it convenient for fluid transportation. Right-clicking with an empty bottle provides an experience bottle if enough liquid XP is available (consumes 200 ml of fluid).

XP Drain Singularity Tank

Similar to the singularity tank but features a built-in drain for converting player experience into liquid XP. Players standing on the block can pump their experience into the tank for later use.

XP Tap

Can only be placed on the sides of a singularity tank. Allows converting liquid XP back into experience orbs when needed.

Iron Spikes

Basic traps that can be placed on any side of solid blocks. Deal damage to mobs and players upon contact, causing mobs to drop loot and experience.

Mob Masher

Specialized block for maximum loot efficiency with a modular upgrade system. Supports vanilla enchantments as upgrades beyond standard levels. Available upgrades: Sharpness, Looting, Smite, Fire Aspect, Bane of Arthropods, and a unique upgrade - Beheading, which increases the chance of mob heads dropping (up to 100% at maximum level). Compatible with Ender IO for obtaining Enderman heads.

Entity Conveyors

Transport belts for horizontal movement of mobs and items.

Ender Inhibitor

Prevents entity teleportation within 8 blocks. Can be placed on any side of solid blocks. Activated/deactivated with right-click.

Boss Mufflers

Two types of blocks for the Wither and Dragon, working on the same principle. Muffle boss death sounds within an 8-block radius and allow hiding health indicators. Health bar hiding works individually for each player.

Liquid XP

Liquid version of experience. When Ender IO or Open Blocks are present, the mod uses their textures and fluid registration.

Mob Spawn Egg Tools

The Mob Swab allows obtaining spawn eggs in survival mode. Used on the desired mob to collect DNA, then combined to create GM Chicken Feed. When fed to a chicken, it drops the corresponding spawn egg. Eggs can be applied to spawners to change mob type. Support for vanilla mob variants is planned for the future.
