

Mob Summoning (End of Life)
Important Notice
The Mob Summoning modification has reached end of life. This project was originally created as a way to learn about working with game entities. Although the idea of summoning mobs was interesting and deserved further development, the author no longer has time to support the project. The mod's source code is now available under the MIT license in hopes that someone can continue its development.
Core Functionality
The modification allows summoning mobs to fight on your side. Summoning requires a special Summoning Staff in the main hand and a corresponding item in the offhand. The summoning cost depends on the mob type:
- Passive mobs: 5 experience levels
- Neutral mobs: 7 experience levels
- Hostile mobs: 10 experience levels
