Primal is a Forge/NeoForge modification that significantly enhances the wilderness of Minecraft, making survival more exciting and realistic!

Mobs

Bear

Spawns in forest biomes, loves honey, and can become a powerful battle companion after taming! Bears can also be given barrels.

Eagle

Soars over mountains and hunts small creatures by lifting them into the air with its claws. Can be tamed by raising a chick from an egg.

Shark

Inhabits oceans, primarily hunts squids, but attacks any creature with incomplete health. Also attracted to conduits!

Crocodile

Found along rivers and in swampy areas, attacks anything that approaches. Can store items in its stomach when fed meat and drops scutes for decorative blocks!

Polar Bear

Redesigned vanilla polar bear to better fit Primal's style! Now they can be bred using a bucket of salmon.

Fox

Redesigned vanilla fox for better consistency with Primal's concept!

Blocks

River Reeds

Grow along rivers, in swamps and mangrove thickets. Tall reeds are great for hiding. Can be bundled into straw bales and smoked over a campfire for special effects.

Sea Shells

Scattered across beaches and depths of warm oceans. Can be stacked similar to pink petals. Convert to bone meal in composter.

Shark Tooth and Crocodile Scute Blocks

Shark teeth sometimes drop during shark attacks — said to be as sharp as a trident! Be careful with the sharp side! Crocodile scutes can be obtained with a brush or when crocodile grows to adulthood. Be careful when brushing crocodiles!

Straw Nest

Block obtainable only with silk touch or shears on high mountain peaks. Can safely store any placeable eggs. Protects eggs from mobs and accidental destruction by player. Eggs can be picked up with right-click. Accelerates egg hatching time!
