Modern Multitools (MC 1.21.9) v1.4

With this datapack active, unique recipes for creating universal tools - multitools - become available in the game. Now you can combine multiple tools into one compact item with extended capabilities.

Crafting Multitools

Simply mix the required tools made of the same material (axe + pickaxe + hoe + shovel) on a crafting table - you'll get a powerful multitool without unnecessary complications. Important: for Netherite versions, use crafting exclusively, not smithing on a smithing table. Version 1.4+ fixed the bug that allowed creating them in the wrong way.

Multitool Features

Main advantages of the combined tool:

• Durability increased 4 times compared to regular tools
• Optimized performance with special blocks
• Quick function switching - hold the swap hand key (default F) to access other tools, including sword

Optimized Blocks

Specially improved efficiency for: Glass and glass panes, heads, wool and carpets, beds, candles, cakes, honeycombs, sea lanterns, glowstone, redstone lamps, powder snow, cacti, turtle eggs, sniffer eggs, froglights, cobwebs and beacons.

Sword Shield Upgrade

You can upgrade any sword by combining it with a shield and an iron ingot on a smithing table. Multitools also support this option - just switch to sword mode first.

After upgrading, the main weapon's durability is preserved.
